it's been so crazy..i think i haven't been getting enough rest but i don't feel drained at all. it's like a satisfying/accomplished sorta tiredness &i feel good about it! everything looked brighter since i started working at The Asylum. i am also back in school to earn the credits &graduate officially. i am happy with what i have now. srsly, i think all of these has been in God's will &it's all falling in place now. thank God! i'm gonna work very hard to give my best! :)

last saturday was fun fun fun!!!!!!!! chris (the boss!) invited the girls of The Asylum for dinner @White Rabbit.

it's the official icebreaker session as we talked about nearly everything under the sun! that was good as we really got to know each other better afterward :)

after dinner, i left for wala wala's. i was suppose to bring tom &his gf, joann (who turned out to be a long lost friend of mine. what a small world huh?) to see shirlyn &the unXpected but they fell ill. i hope they are fine already.

some time before my last day @SL Global, i fantasized about working in a fresh environment that was closer to my personality &likes. places like Wooonderland/Actually..any boutique located at Ann Siang Rd..maybe even Agnes b. it seemed so surreal that i am actually working at The Asylum right now. i think i'm gonna learn a lot for retail management &merchandising. chris is a really nice boss. i'm surprised that someone of such high profile would be so friendly &cool with his staff. i can't wait to get my feet wet thoroughly &build up my network. i also hope in time i'll become the merchandiser/curator for the store coz it seems like i'm gonna be passed on with that duty very soon. by the way, there are lots of yummy food around the store thus i don't have to worry about eating the same ol' shit different day. haha :D

we got pigpig a friend from the very same pet shop last friday. the bus ride was horrendously long but it was all worthwhile when we got there as cowcow caught both of our eyes immediately. she (who was mistaken to be a boy by the pet shop owner) was sitting in the food bowl eating away happily. she was really cute &tiny. we were so happy to have her as pigpig's friend!

everything seemed so good..going well as planned until yk realized there was blood in her pee at my place. that was abnormal, obviously. so we decided to bring the both of them to see the vet to have a proper health check the next day. this is where it got really bad..cowcow has urinary tract infection which got complicated &caused her bladder to balloon since she couldn't pass out the urine properly. the vet squeezed her really hard at the bladder so she could get some pee for tests &that really hurt her real bad..so much so her bladder raptured at that time. my God, poor cowcow..she was just motionless after that &we thought she was just traumatized by the whole ordeal. little did we know, she was actually in immense pain..sigh. we only came to know when we picked up the cage, she just fell onto her side &was unable to get up. we were in shock &immediately told the vet about it..she advised to have cowcow operated in the bladder as it was raptured.

sigh..we were so afraid she was not going to make it. she was so tiny &to go under the knife..i think it's a big, big risk but we didn't have a choice. so we went back to yk's place without her &waited for the vet to call. thank God, cowcow survived &she was put under observation. but she never got better..she couldn't eat/drink on her own anymore. we were still thinking of bringing her back to take care of her as it seemed like her days were numbered already.

the very next morning, cowcow passed away. going back to see her was really painful..even though we have not bonded with her, we were very upset as she was too young to have gone through all these..however i am sure she is in a happier place now, free from all the pain & suffering. somehow she touched a very soft spot of my heart..it is really sad to think about the whole incident..sigh.

thank God, pigpig is in the pink of health &we care for him even more so these days. getting him a friend will have to be postponed i guess..

i seriously have to update my blog before it gets dusty..

i'm sure you guys know that i have left SL Global already & it's been almost a week.

well well, the reason why i didn't want to update my blog even though so much has been happening is b'coz i have yet to receive the pixx i took with my ex-colleagues on my last day. i wanted to keep my blog updated in chronological order yeah? but noooo..i can't hold back anymore.

i finally got my iMac last tuesday after like months of saving. i swear i could have gotten one earlier but i kept digging into my savings thus the delay..

check these out..i loved them! the bottom one was my 1st computer & i wish i could still use it..but oh well, even these things got an expiry date.

so i replaced those with this....tadah!

i've been staying home quite a bit this week..coz i just can't take my hands off this new baby!

manyyy thanks to darhling bee bee who helped me to zhng my Mac. hehehehe he is more than willing to do so..since he is sucha maclover! :)

however, i'm srsly getting quite broke. thank goodness the asylum emailed & confirmed i'm scheduled for an interview this coming monday with the boss, chris.

i am crossing my fingers & toes on this..i really need a job.

anyways i'm gonna come back again for more updates regarding my guinea pigletsssssss..

heh we spent our 10th mth together in the most fun way..

today, for the first time in my life, i had the unconventional job interview.
no forms to fill up, no waiting in line for your turn into the HR's office..you don't even need to bring a copy of your resume & the portfolio.
well, that's because it's paul (owner of actually & wooonderland).
as promised by the email reply he sent me, we had a chat regarding the potentiality of me joining the crew. it's gonna be big shoes to fill since there are major plans coming up & i must say, i'm not even half confident of clinching the job.
i wanna work for him though as i know it's gonna be spontaneous & fun! plus i'm sure i'll learn lots from him & the networking is gonna be great.
hopefully, i'll hear from him again. LOL or pray hard that the rest of the current crew would like me to join them..hehe people like susu & jing :) i'm dropping a gigantic hintttttt!

the weekend was short but it was greatttt while it lasted!

:) sat in for bee's jamming session on saturday evening.

it was with his new found band formed with his schoolmates & they are covering songs from anime for now. they want to write japanese songs in the future too!

well anyway, they have a new drummer & he is gooood! now the band seem complete..more or less. they just need a little tweaking & they are good to go!

i felt better after taking a short walk home. i did some reflection about my life. i guess i lost my direction when i got complacent as life has been good. but honestly i haven't been feeling right. like i am missing something. i can't say i love my job totally & on a second thought, is fashion really my thing? is it something i wanna do for the rest of my life? fashion has been fun for awhile. it's glamourous & some people do get envious of what i do. but honestly i am neither in nor out in fashion. i adore fashion but..it is lacking in meaning. i don't feel accomplished. i feel unsatisfied. i don't believe fashion is truly suitable for me. it is nursing that is my true calling. i have put that down just because i have taken 3 years of my life to graduate with a diploma in fashion merchandising & mkting. i didn't want to let my dip go to waste just like that. but now i finally realize..it is not what i aspire to be in life. no matter how much i like it, it is just a favourite pastime. so i have decided that..i will work hard for another year & a half to try out for the Professionals Conversion Programme for Registered Nurses by WDA. wish me luck. i need to persevere this time around. i gave up nursing too fast without thinking twice back then. now that i am growing older, i don't have time to waste.

i don't know what is becoming of my body. i was down with fever since mon. the worse was on wed when my body temp hit a high of 39.9degree celsius. it sucks to be that sick mann. i kept feeling very cold when the fever hit me &as the medication work, i started to perspire so much so i have to wipe myself dry. after awhile, it's back to the fever &the cycle just went on &on. i never ever fell so sick before &i was so scared. the doc suspected i had dengue. if the fever didn't clear by fri, i would have to do a blood test. phew! thank God i'm feeling much better &now i can enjoy my weekend properly.

gosh i just realized my last post was about me being sick too. damn. what is really becoming of my body?

oh i contracted gastric flu &like the symptoms go, it just hit me out of the blue. feverish, nausea, body aches..i am still feeling nausea so i haven't had a proper meal ever since lunch on thursday. thank God, baby took really great care of me &i'm feeling so much better. come to think about it, he is the first &only bf who ever took care of me when i was sick. that feeling is so comforting.
now i think i will get a little mushy but i seriously can't imagine a day without him anymore ♥

i'm having the bolt of skinniness again. when i know i am so fatttt because in fact i really am beyond believe i wanna down some laxatives. i know this sounds worrying but it's true. i know i'm succumbing to the superficiality of life. i am &the best thing is i know.

so all i can say is, it's my personal choice.
